Ordering your Red Reactor

We’ve had fantastic feedback from you, and we were excited to have been able to answer your questions including home automation, supporting Node-RED, configuring Ubuntu OS, and deliver 3D models for your custom case projects.

READY TO SHIP NOW
We have completed production of the units following our Kickstarter campaign, and have finished all testing and delivery to all our Kickstarter customers. But as part of this order we have more units and more custom Pogo-pins for sale NOW.
Therefore, if you complete the order form below, we can organise shipment immediately after payment!
Once you’re happy with the quotation, we will contact you for payment and your address. Please select from the options below and submit the completed form.
The Red Reactor is available in 2 versions, which gives you the freedom to choose the best solution for your own projects. In both cases, the board has standard 2.54mm pitch 2-pin mounting holes for each of the Vin, Button, Run and Vout ports allowing you to directly solder to external devices.
Batteries are not included as you will undoubtedly have your own preferences here.
Option 1: Red Reactor with Pogo-pins
The Pogo Pin version provides a solderless connection to your Raspberry Pi, slotting neatly underneath it with the stand-offs provided. For lower current applications you can just use the micro-USB connector to supply external power, or solder directly to the Vin port if you prefer.

Option 2: Headerless Red Reactor
The Headerless version does not come with Pogo Pins, and is provided in case you prefer a different way of attaching the Red Reactor, e.g. if you have a height constraint, wish to use a different GPI port for the button interrupt or connect it to other Single Board Computers with a different pin out.

Option 3: High Performance Pogo-pins
- Ideal for solderless connection between boards!
- Wide Cupped heads for a perfect fit underneath solder tents
- High Performance 3 Amps, 1.9mm spring
- Each set of 10 pins comes with 4x M2.5x7mm+6mm stand-offs

If you wish to order the High Performance Pogo-pins on their own, we will advise on shipping costs separately.
